Information the app uses
Tagbeam: Catalog Fix List is a read-only catalog checklist inside Shopify Admin. With your store's product-read permission, it reads active product and variant identifiers and names, product status, gift-card and bundle-related flags, shipping requirements and weight. In Weight and cost mode, it also checks whether a unit-cost record exists and reads its currency code. It does not request the numeric cost amount. Weight only omits the cost field. Tagbeam: Catalog Fix List does not request customer or order access and does not edit products.
Shopify authentication supplies the store domain and information needed to verify the current staff member. The app stores Shopify sessions and access credentials on its server. Session records can include a staff ID, name, email, locale, permissions and token expiry information. You do not create a separate Tagbeam: Catalog Fix List account.
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include so we can respond. Avoid sending customer records or access credentials. Support messages are handled in the operator's email service, outside the app's session database.
How information is used
Tagbeam: Catalog Fix List uses catalog information to identify items that may need a weight or unit-cost review. Findings stay in the open browser page and are not saved as catalog history. Starting another scan, leaving or reloading the page clears displayed findings.
A short-lived signed scan continuation carries the store domain, page cursor and scan counts between requests and is bound to the current staff session. Its signature protects against changes; it does not encrypt that value. Authentication sessions are used to verify your store access and permissions.
Service providers and location
Shopify provides authentication and catalog data. Railway provides app hosting and persistent session storage. The app's current hosting region is Railway's US West region (us-west2), in the United States. Information may therefore be processed outside your country.
The app and hosting service process technical request information needed to operate and troubleshoot the service. The application's access logs omit request URLs. Railway's HTTP records may include an IP address, user agent, request path and response status. Provider records and any provider-retained copies follow the provider's retention practices.
See Shopify's privacy policy and Railway's privacy policy for information about those providers.
Retention and deletion
Catalog data is processed for the current scan. Tagbeam: Catalog Fix List does not maintain saved scan history. Shopify session records persist in the app database until overwritten, removed by cleanup or deleted following a successfully processed store event. Background cleanup removes some expired sessions without usable refresh credentials. There is no fixed maximum lifetime for all session records. Hosting and email records have separate retention practices.
When Tagbeam: Catalog Fix List successfully processes Shopify's authenticated app-uninstalled or shop-redaction event, it deletes the current session records for that store. Customer data-request and customer-redaction events are acknowledged without storing customer details because Tagbeam: Catalog Fix List has no customer or order database. Successful event processing does not establish deletion from a provider backup or an older copy retained outside the current database.
